...I will now break out in an emotional speech -

This year was really, er, eventful. I think we started getting really, really driven after the season, right? Well, that's cause we learned a lot from it.

I think we've been pushing ourselves quite a lot for the past few months! We've been going down for RI trainings, that aren't even optional anymore (heh.), and we've been driving ourselves to improve more so that we'll become better players.

We bonded a lot during the past three years, shared all the moments of triumph and loss. During holidays, you guys are really the people I hang out with the most. (Ah, my social circle... sigh.) After school, I go home with you people. Before trainings, I eat with you people. We even MUG together after TRAINING.

Safe to say, my life revolves around our batch, and softball. But I like it that way.

Aaand, I don't really know where I'm heading by saying all this but, I just want you guys to know that our batch means a lot to me and I LOVE YOU GUYS TO BITS ♥

Let's go for the gold next year.

Yo cereals, this is a message from Ching:

Hi people,

Okay look I think we are really behind time and nationals are like 4/5 weeks away and we are nowhere near the standards of the sec 2s last year when they had nationals. Did u ppl realise how many mistakes u had made, whether in throwing or fielding, that could much easily had let the other team score an extra and make us really fall behind and eventually lose? I think we really have to look at how our seniors play and really see how really bad we are. The seniors look very natural when they play but we really are far too away from the standards that they had set. I think we had been too proud of little stuff that we had achieved, which mostly could have been by luck. So ppl, please don’t keep telling me that YOU think you have improved because it’s only your performance that particular day and pls think that you still need a lot more practice to perfect whatever you think you have improved in.

I think most of you ppl are still very afraid of the ball and you are still inflexible in moving your arms when a ball comes to you. If you think Nico looks like she isn’t very serious about training, but at least she did something to improve herself (my getting some ‘crazy balls’). But personally I don’t suppose and see that you ppl try to do such stuff when you are free. Kimberly, you also have to improve your speed on how you move the glove cos’ even the seniors are telling me that you are really slow (though I had seen improvements since you became a catcher). Liting you are still not using your other hand to cover while you are fielding though I had already told you umpteen times. Vic, try to get down low when you are fielding. I know it looks ugly and it’s very ‘troublesome’ but that’s what everyone is doing, unless you can perfect the way you are fielding now. Esna I think you are doing a good job as a first base (catching balls and stuff) but pls be aware that when a ball really comes straight at you, don’t be afraid. Aru you still have to improve your throws before you can really play in the game cos’ mostly your throws go out. Also I know you are tall, but still try to get down low when fielding. Char will have to be much more flexible while fielding, yeah look at christine’s example, she doesn’t get astounded when the ball suddenly jumps up but she still can stop it or even slow it down successfully. But for you, you will get a shock of your life and the ball usually rolls away. For Wan Li you are getting better in pitching but really try to put in more strength, and also be more flexible when fielding. Tracy, your throws are fast, keep it up, but mind the accuracy. You also need to be more flexible in fielding.

Remember there are more sec 2s coming in and imagine if they gets to be in the team while you don’t, when you had a year’s experience, you have nobody else to blame except yourself because either you are not willing to change or you are just not trying hard enough. That’s all I can tell you, point out your mistake and you have to improve yourself. I was thinking that we are really too weak so we need to strengthen ourselves before we can really bat hard and throw hard. So perhaps every mon and wed after school we’ll go to PE corner and do some PT etc. Wan Li you don’t have to come on mon since you have third lang. but I expect every other people to come. If you don’t some it’s your own loss. So every mon and wed after sch we’ll meet at softball corner. If you have something on and cannot come you are excused. Yep that’s all.

hey, today we had a mini batch lunch that consisted of arunima, esna, victoria, charlene and me (kim) going to long john silvers to eat!

aha. and then we kept talking and stuff. then afterthat i was saying "NO!" to somebody with aggression so i went to hit the table. but then in the end i hit my long john silvers plate and that it flipped over and smashed to the floor with some chicken crunches on me. stupid. then esna was like 'MAMAMIA!' okay, not really, but charlene and i thought she sounded like it (: I TELL YOU IT WAS PURELY ON PURPOSE BECAUSE ME BEING THE NICE PERSON I AM DEGRADED MYSELF FOR THE HUMOUR OF OTHERS.... yeah right. and i kept making this point known throughout! :D

ahahahahaha today went to science center with esna, liting and charlene because we missed it on wednesday. then the omnimax ticket is 13 years old n above 10 bucks then 12 years old n below 5 bucks so we hatched a plan!
